I Fell in Love with My Beautiful Maid

Bella Hill comes out of university into a bad job market and cannot find work. A friend tells her to make use of what she has while she is young, and points her at a housekeeping job in the home of a professor, Daniel Leigh. She arrives in the city and is hired. The hiring was set up. Faye Smith, Daniel's wife, is unhappy in the marriage and living apart from him, and she picked Bella out on purpose so that Daniel would slip up in the daily run of the house. The same friend keeps telling Bella that anyone who wants a foothold in the city has to give something up, and steers her toward him. Daniel works out what is being done to him. He and Bella agree to play along with it and let the thing run.
