Shadow Vow

Synopsis

The story centers on investigative journalist Elena Ward. While trying to expose a corporate conglomerate’s crimes, she comes under attack on the red carpet at a charity gala. In the nick of time, her temporary bodyguard Nolan Cross takes a bullet for her. To Elena’s shock, this stoic bodyguard is no stranger — he is her husband, who mysteriously vanished on their wedding night three years earlier.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
