Synopsis

Eilin, daughter of a Jarl, loses her father and brother on her wedding day and escapes into the sea. Rescued by Kaelan, a merman prince, she is given the Sea-Iron Axe — a key to a lost civilization tied to the World Tree. She joins the legendary Viking leader Ragnar’s fleet, raiding Paris, Rome, and Constantinople, chasing the Ragnvald family across the known world. Her cross-species love with Kaelan is tested by greed and conspiracy. In the end, she sails across the Atlantic to America — the new world born after Ragnarök. The axe still drips. Revenge is not over.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
