Don't Mess with the Leading Lady

Phoebe and Edward are about to be married. Phoebe's parents put up a house valued at 50 million as the wedding present. Edward's family then asks her to sign the house over to him, and follows that with a list of other conditions. Edward defers to his mother and takes his family's side on every one of them. Phoebe breaks off the engagement. When she comes back she finds the house has been occupied and her name dragged through the mud. Her father tries to speak up for her and is humiliated for it. Edward's sister goes on a livestream to spread lies about her. Another man steps in and lays out what actually happened, and it comes out that Edward's family had set the marriage up to get at her money.
