Heart Exposed: Villain's Comeback

Everyone at the engagement banquet takes Jonathan for the same reckless fool he has always been to them. He has been through this day once already. The Dragon King came for him the first time and left nothing of his family, and he has come back to the banquet with all of it still in his head. He works out what he has against what the Dragon King has and decides to end the engagement for now, get his family out of the line of it, and go find people who will back him. The woman he is breaking it off with is a daughter of one of the capital's ruling houses, and she can hear what he thinks. In front of the Dragon King she goes down on her knees and asks Jonathan to marry her.
