Synopsis

A firefighter sets his own home ablaze for his mistress’s drill, trapping his three-year-old daughter inside. The mother watches via security cam, but he dismisses her pleas, calls the child illegitimate, and prioritizes the assessment. As flames consume the nursery, the daughter’s ghost emerges—still apologizing for being “bad.” Only when charred remains, a melted necklace, and final recordings surface does he break down. But forgiveness never comes. The daughter’s last words: “Daddy didn’t love me.” He is arrested; she fades into ash, finally free.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
