Synopsis

Silas was the world's greatest magician—a masked vigilante called the "King of Magic." When an assassin's bullet meant for him killed his mentor, Silas vowed to vanish and protect the man's daughter, Lyra. Now hiding as a janitor at Lyra's failing theater, he silently guards her and her little girl. But her vicious ex, her greedy uncle, and a parade of elite magicians descend to seize everything—forcing her into deadly magic duels where losing means death. Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
