Lillian recognized him as the savior who had once saved her life through the scent of light and took the initiative to approach him, helping him uncover his origins. During the academy's grand competition, Karen revealed her potential, and in the library, he discovered his true identity—the academy's director, Os, who had abandoned his own father by choosing to save Thomas that fateful day. Os felt remorseful, but Karen refused to acknowledge the connection. Later: Thomas, consumed by jealousy, turned to the leader of the Dark Magicians, Howard, and drank the blood of the Demon God, drastically increasing his power.
