Synopsis

Caribbean dockworker Eli Reed, betrayed by his ex-wife and desperate to save his dying mother, accidentally awakens the "Eyes of Destiny" — able to see through lifespan and worth of all things. Rising from the mud, he crushes enemies, swallows trading empires, and conquers the seas. Yet on the day he reaches the pinnacle, he discovers his own lifespan has only one year left...

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
