Synopsis

For three years, Ellis upheld his father’s legacy by running a modern farm in his hometown, opening his private roads, cold storage, and logistics facilities to the entire town for free. He also built a firebreak around the farm, a vital barrier born from his father’s fatal lesson. But when developer Dale set his sights on the land to build a resort, Ellis’s greedy uncle Wade colluded with him. Manipulating the townsfolk into believing the firebreak blocked local development, they forced Ellis to tear down the life-saving barrier.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
