A love once Betrayed

Andrew Bennett inherits the Bennett fortune at a point when it is falling apart, and he puts everything into holding the family legacy together. His wife Evelyn is left alone in a marriage with no affection in it. She starts an affair with Ryan, a childhood friend of Andrew's who sees an opening and takes it. The affair is intense and bad for her. Andrew finds out. He confronts Evelyn, ends the marriage, and says he will expose what Ryan actually wants. Evelyn loses the money and the life that came with it and has to live with what she chose. Ryan, who does not want Andrew coming after him, drops her.
