Hidden Agenda

David is set on marrying Mia and goes ahead with it over his mother's objections. Mia moves in and begins changing how the house is run, including hiring an older woman, Sara, as the maid. Nobody knows much about where Sara came from. Odd things start happening around the house, and David gets sick. Mia arranges his days so that he sees less of his family and less of his company. On his mother's advice David hires a nurse, Amy, to look after him. He gets used to having her there, which does not help his feelings for Mia. Amy watches the meals and the medication and works out that the illness is not running its own course. Old family business is tangled up in it, and neither the fiancée nor the maid is who she has said she is.
