Her Turn to Shine

Every yuan Emma earned running her housekeeping company went into her younger brother Liam's debts, and the hole never closed. She had spent half her life covering him, and the family treated the arrangement as settled. She goes home for the Mid-Autumn dinner. At the table there are her sister-in-law's jibes, a false accusation from Liam, and her father, who is ready to hand her over one more time to keep his son afloat. Emma finally sees what the family tie is worth. Her children back her now: her son runs a property group and her daughter runs a city hospital. With them behind her she cuts the family off, puts her attention on her own business, and starts over.
