Rise of the Rejected

Evan Cross is the adopted son of the Cross family. He cannot cultivate, so he gives his blood to feed the medicines that let his older sisters advance, and he is willing to be used up that way. A schemer turns the sisters against him. They beat him badly and throw him out of the house for being unable to cultivate. He is barely out the gate when a system wakes in him. It heals his injuries, remakes his constitution and starts giving him resources, so he can finally cultivate. Every fight he wins feeds it, and it unlocks arts, a fire orb, a healing spell, concealment. Lina takes him in and he gains the backing of her family and of the alchemists' valley. He works through forged antiques, banned techniques and rigged rounds at the sword and arcana tournament, clears his name, treats Lina's father, and exposes what Damien Cross has been doing. He climbs the ranks and gets far enough to help his sisters see who deceived them and to repair things with them.
