Between the Aisle and a Lie

Celia Wery is married into the family and pregnant. Her mother-in-law Violette Laine is getting married, and Celia comes to the hotel with a gift: an apartment in the Peninsula-des-Bois worth 100,000,000 euros. Violette's close friend Hermine Conde sees her there and tells Violette that Celia has been making advances on Gerald Jaubert, the groom. Violette believes it and treats Celia as the other woman. Celia explains who she is and the misunderstanding clears for a while. Then reporters arrive at the hotel, and the accusation starts again in front of them, worse than before. Celia loses the child. Other things come out around the wedding: a cancer diagnosis that was never real, a man named Hugo Chenal who had been with Violette before, and a death the family had stopped talking about.
