Synopsis

Ordinary college student Jack, long bullied on campus, picks up a mysterious alien ring after a brutal beating—awakening powers and being pulled into the secret organization Star Shield. Forced to balance student life and battlefield missions, he grows from a self-protecting victim into a capable fighter alongside researcher Lucia and veteran Arthur. But every ring upgrade erodes his mind, and alien parasites have already infiltrated his campus.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
