Trading a Traitor for a Queen

On the day of the wedding, Holden Mercer is set to sign over thirty percent of his group's shares to his fiancee. The ceremony starts and she takes a call from the man she calls her best friend, who says he will kill himself, and she runs out to him. To calm him down she sleeps with him. Holden thinks back over the years of being passed over and cut down by her, and something in him goes cold. He does not show up at the altar. He cancels the share transfer, takes back the luxury villa he had given her parents, and cuts her family out of his plans. He rebuilds the company with the support of a woman who had once helped him, and his ex-fiancee is left with nothing after the best friend shows what he actually is.
