The Escaping Mistress

Two families on the Thoman Estate live near each other and grow close, the wealthy Kanes and the middle-class Sands. Ann Kane is married to Noah, a businessman known for being shrewd. Joan Sands is the earner in her house, married to Mark, a kind artist who often feels overshadowed by her steadiness. Joan finds out that Noah and Mark are both involved with the same woman, Sandra. Ann hears it from her. Each woman first plans on her own how to deal with her husband, then they confide in each other and decide to work together against the mistresses, believing there are two of them. Joan notices that Sandra has been pushing Mark to treat her better and has helped his confidence. Ann, curious about this, hires Sandra herself.
