Synopsis

Dragon lord Silas orders his "dragon-coreless" infant Astrid killed. Her mother Willow leaps off a cliff to save her; the baby is rescued by Magnus. Twenty years later, Astrid awakens the sealed Obsidian Tempest—becoming the Mother of Dragons. She seeks her birth parents, finds Willow enslaved, crushes invaders, exposes her father's crimes, and gains Killian's loyalty. After deposing Silas and saving Willow, she unites the continent and is crowned Primordial Dragon Queen.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
