Synopsis

The country's older military hardware is sitting retired and outclassed, and international exercises are coming. Ethan Cross is an engineering student who sells propane on livestream. Off camera he rebuilds the old machines. A retired fighter jet gets vertical takeoff and nuclear power and comes out a sixth-generation aircraft. An aging tank becomes a very fast ground combat vehicle. He works with the defense side to build an automated production line and turn out the aircraft in quantity ahead of the exercises.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
