Rowan Chase wakes up in another world with the Corruption Protocol System attached to him. It multiplies his strength a hundred times over whenever he faces an opponent weaker than he is. He tops the recruit assessment and is taken into the Thunderstrike unit, where he builds up a record across missions and training exercises. He is sent to the Hunter International Academy and wins there, then comes back to help train the women's unit that becomes Phoenix Rising. One of the people he trains alongside is the sniper Iris Ye, and the two of them grow closer while his own strength keeps climbing.
