Sloane's daughter dies on the operating table. On the same day her husband is with his mistress, celebrating the mistress's birthday. Sloane asks for a divorce, goes home, and walks in on the two of them. She grabs the mistress by the throat, and is tied up and taken away on the mistress's orders. The family butler gets her out and tells her who she really is: the heir to the Stainova Group. She takes her place at the head of the company. Going back through what happened at the hospital, she finds that her daughter's death was not an accident, and that the surgeon had been paid by the mistress. Sloane then offers to host a wedding for her husband and his mistress at the Stainova hotel. She treats the day as a memorial for her daughter. At the reception she puts the evidence up on screen in front of the guests, and the mistress is sent to prison. Her husband goes down on his knees and asks to be forgiven.
