Two Years to General

Qin Feng was born in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang region. In his previous life poor health kept him out of the military, which he regretted. He is carried through time into another body, and he lands in the Fourth Squad of the Recruit Company of the 402nd Regiment. The body's previous owner had left romantic entanglements behind, and Qin Feng cuts them off. He sets himself one goal in the army, to make contributions and serve the country. After enlisting he wakes two abilities, System Mimicry and Heaven Moves Strong. The first lets him copy skills he sees, hand to hand combat and folding a blanket into military shape among them. The second returns more than he puts in, so effort pays back at a rate other recruits do not get. Squad Leader Zhao Pengfei trains them strictly. Qin Feng goes through recruit training alongside Chen Sanxi, who is honest and plain, Qi Meng, a martial arts graduate who wants to compete with everyone, and Li Jiasheng, who is rich and shows it. The days run through singing army songs before meals, folding blankets to standard, duck walk drills and the three kilometre run. Some of the trouble is not training at all, and he helps his squadmates through their own romantic problems.
