Synopsis

Rachel, with situational mutism, is humiliated at her engagement party by fiancé Liam, her sister, and his friend Vanessa, who rig the timer. She ends the engagement, moves to Manchester for illustration, regains her voice, and creates *The Little Bird's First Chirp*. Rejecting Liam's reconciliation and her family's manipulation, Rachel cuts ties with her past and speaks up for herself.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
