On One Condition

Cassie falls in love with Ethan, who works at her company. She is embarrassed enough about it to keep the relationship secret, and it goes on that way for a while. She is competitive, clever, used to being the highest achiever in the room, and she is meant to inherit the Blue empire. Her father dies and she finds that the inheritance includes his debts and his enemies. Then she learns Ethan has been seeing her sister Julia the whole time, and that the two of them planned it so Cassie would pay for the expensive wedding they want. She refuses outright and threatens to fire him. He threatens back, with a secret of hers he can expose. To get out from under them she investigates on her own. Ethan is her half brother, and he intends to destroy what the Blues built. Her father's death was not an accident either, but Julia's way of taking the company. Cassie has no proof of an actual attempt on his life.
