A long-standing pact between two families requires a Nordstrom daughter to marry Stefan Vaughn. When the wedding comes, Adia Nordstrom takes her sister's place at the altar to keep the family's name intact. Stefan is cold about it and makes no effort to hide that the match disappoints him.
