Synopsis

Evelyn borrowed from everyone in the village to pay for treating her two children and still did not have enough for the hospital. Her younger daughter Sara, wanting the one course of treatment for herself, pushed her older brother Nathan off a cliff. Evelyn believed her son was dead. She raised Sara alone, working herself down to get her through university. Sara came to see her mother as poor, worn out, and an embarrassment, and told her not to show her face, including on her wedding day. Nathan, who remembers what his mother gave him when he had nothing, comes back.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
