Fresh Out, Leveled Up

The Molina family has arranged for Aurelia Sinclair to be engaged to their son Iven, and her grandfather is too sick to stop it. Griffin Hale arrives in the Capital from Dragon Prison, where he served years alongside specialists in medicine, business and fighting, and where his master Celia gave him two instructions before releasing him: marry, and find his uncle-master. He carries tokens from several top-tier powers and a black card. He goes to the Sinclair Group and breaks off the engagement. Using the physician's token he summons a master doctor, and treats the grandfather himself with a needle technique, bringing him back from the edge. The Sinclairs accept him after that. He and Aurelia agree to share a room and he keeps to his side of it. He cures Yara Gil, daughter of Kellen Gil of the Dragon King Palace, of a cold-vein condition she was born with, and the Palace backs him from then on. Iven obstructs the Sinclair Group's business and Griffin works around it. At the Chongyun banquet he puts down Iven and Caesar Vida, a young man from the provincial capital. He identifies what the Lasker corporation is actually running and brings the Sinclair Group a contract out of it. Through all of this the Sinclairs do not know who he is.
