The Celestial Ancestor of Mount Celestial sent Caleb Yates, who had reached master grade, down the mountain to recover three sect treasures. The three treasures had merged with the bodies of three former masters who left the sect. His instructions were to hide his identity, get close to each of the three women, and have them hand the treasures over willingly. In Dragon City he dealt first with Monica Liebana, called the Queen of the Underground, and then with Fiona Blanco, the reserved heir of a powerful family. He entered Fiona's son-in-law contest and got through it. He also mediated between the factions in the city. He then learned why the three had left. The Ancestor had already turned to demonic cultivation before they went. The order to recover the treasures was meant to hold Caleb's own cultivation down and to have the three masters killed by his hand rather than the Ancestor's. Caleb went to the three women with this.
