Boyfriend on the Menu

Evan is an office worker dating Serena, who invites him to meet her family in her home village. The village is cut off from the outside world. On arrival Evan finds that the residents are all women. Serena's mother behaves strangely toward him, and Serena's younger sister tells him the village eats people. Evan learns by accident that the villagers are spider demons who feed on men to advance their cultivation, and that Serena brought him there to be offered up on the night of the full moon. He makes contact with Hanna, a demon hunter from Unit 749 who is being held in the village, and the two of them try to leave. Serena pursues them repeatedly. During the escape Evan's co-workers are lured to the village on the pretext of a birthday party and are fed to the villagers. Elias, one of the group, informs on the others in exchange for his own life. Captain Calvère of Unit 749 reaches the village.
