Synopsis

A cook trained on a mountain does not leave until his master says he is finished. Liam Wood, the Master Chef's last apprentice, was released and sent down for a marriage his master had arranged for him. He left before his bride reached the mountain. Kayla Wilson, the woman promised to him, arrived to ask the Master Chef to come back and save her restaurant. He told her he had put down his knife for good and gave her the name of his apprentice instead. She ordered a search across the city for the young cook who had just walked out. He is the quiet one already working in her kitchen.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
