Synopsis

The Scorpion syndicate kills a gambler. His family had been ruined, and he had taken to the tables after that. He is reborn. With a woman as his partner he brings down the boss of the Black Star casino and gets his family back. Then he goes after the man behind the Scorpion syndicate, with card tricks and planning as his means. A game at the Fortune Hotel puts him across the table from the man ranked first among card cheats.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
