Synopsis

At eighteen, Cuban immigrant Sofia Reyes survives by working odd jobs in Miami—until her gambling boyfriend Diego sells her to a seedy club to pay his debts. She escapes a brutal assault only because Mateo Reyes, a feared forty-two-year-old Cuban crime boss known as El Rey, happens to intervene. Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<
