Lagging in Love, Loading Revenge

Serena, who was believed dead, comes back to life in a borrowed body and takes her place as her family's true-born daughter. The adopted daughter who has been living that life set her up, and there is already an engagement in place binding Serena to the head of a rich family's company, a man she never agreed to marry. She starts livestreaming. When she helps the people who come to her broadcasts, it turns out to advance her along the path of cultivation toward immortality, and her viewers watch her do things that should not be possible. In one broadcast she saves her fiancé without meaning to. His family then comes to her on their knees and asks her to become the young mistress of the house. That house carries a curse, and a plot has been built around the curse. Serena is drawn into both. She puts up wards and works through the schemes behind the trouble. Her cultivation stays her main occupation, and the work of getting back the life that was taken from her goes on alongside it.
