Little Cupid Duo

Lily and her mother do a street act for money. The mother has the mind of a five-year-old. Her master put the two of them off his mountain and told them to fend for themselves, and Lily, who is a good deal quicker than most adults, runs the act. An old man from a rich family stops to watch, and so does a boy named Ryan, and through the two of them Lily's mother is introduced to Ryan's father. Lily has been wanting a father for a while, and it turns out Ryan wants a mother, so the two children agree to pair the adults off and set about it, punching a woman who has her eye on Ryan's father and kicking anyone else who gets in the way. The adults are awkward with each other at first and then grow close. Six years earlier the mother spent a night with a man she did not know, and Lily was the result. Nobody has put that night together with the present. With the match made, Lily and Ryan turn up something that says the two of them may be brother and sister by blood.
