Mistake of the Year

Rhea wanted out of her marriage and could not have it. On the night of her second wedding anniversary she caught her husband with his secretary. He had been living off her and controlling her for years, and she was being bullied at work on top of it, but family circumstances meant she could not simply file. She went to a bar to drink it off and spent the night with a man she did not know. The next morning at the office she found out he was Ryan, the company's new president. He had been kidnapped as a child and had been saved because of her, and he had never forgotten her. He started working his way closer to her and offered to help her get away from her husband. She asked him to stay out of the divorce. Around the same time a woman who had loved Ryan since childhood came back from abroad and joined the company. She and the husband's mistress teamed up against Rhea. With Ryan behind her, Rhea decided to go at the divorce anyway and take her life back.
