The Guardian Who Walked Away

2026·18 Eps

Synopsis

I am Adrian Knox, the Wine Sword Immortal, who has guarded Aetheron, the Azure Heaven City, for three hundred years. Reborn with the Wine Sword Immortal System, I grow stronger every time I drink. Yet I was wronged by the city’s folk for my drinking habits, stripped of my authority and branded a drunkard. Enraged, I abandoned my post: “This city is not worth defending!” Later, Aetheron fell to brutal demon hordes. Only then did its people call for me. But it was far too late.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
