Contract Lover

Jaime Woods is married to Shawn Stone on paper. The two of them were in love before the marriage contract, and the contract is what has been wearing them down since, on both sides. Shawn has been seeing other women. Jaime was the stepdaughter in her family, marrying her boss was never her own idea, and her older sister has been working to get the family's property into her own hands. Jaime takes a hard look at where she is and decides to make herself over and go back to being the strong woman she used to be. As she changes, Shawn starts paying attention. Her father's family goes bankrupt in the course of this, at Shawn's hands. He finds things in his wife he had missed and sets about courting her a second time.
