Synopsis

Nina Riley is married to a man she knows as an ordinary husband on a contract. He is Soren Black, who runs the Blackstone syndicate, and he came back to the country under that plain identity to keep a promise he had made. Getting close to Nina was the point of the arrangement. Her family business is going under, and he moves through one crisis after another with her, settling each one without her knowing it was him. The agreement they signed stops feeling like an agreement to both of them.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
