Synopsis

Knox Maddox is a tattooed songwriter with a bad-boy reputation, and he is sleeping with Cassie Fisher's sister. Cassie's record label hires him to work on her album. Cassie has just become the country singer America has taken to its heart, and she is married in secret to the pastor of a megachurch. Once the two of them start working together, the pull between them gets harder to manage. After one night of heavy drinking it turns into an affair, which they keep hidden, and which puts everything Cassie has built at risk.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
