Only the Man She Dumped Can Save Her Now

Herbwell Village has a man people call the Ordinary Man, and when the Bishop family's third daughter Clara Bishop comes down with an illness nobody can name, he is the only one left who can do anything. Eldon Mercer and Mason Krell both try and get nowhere. The man in the village is Damon Carter, who was once looked down on for where he came from and who Clara herself walked out on. He refuses to treat her. As his patients start recovering, the reputation that was taken from him comes back, and he settles his old debts. When Clara asks him to take her back, he does not, and he goes on treating whoever comes to him.
