One Breath to Forever, One Breath to Ruin

Erin Quinn has a heart condition and carries an inhaler for it. She had been with Isaac Ford for three years and had told him nothing about her family. Margaret Walsh is Isaac's close friend of long standing. At Erin's birthday party Margaret raised a glass and used the toast to bring up what had gone on between herself and Isaac, then lit a cigarette and smoked it beside Erin. Erin's heart went and she asked for the inhaler. Isaac handed it to Margaret. Margaret told him Erin was putting it on, he took her word for it, and he kissed Margaret while Erin watched. Erin got word out to her mother. Margaret took the medicine off her and said Erin had hit her, and Isaac sided with Margaret again while Erin lost consciousness. Freya Quinn reached the house at that point.
