From Butcher to No.1

A fallen knight named Zalrok took Arthur's mother to use her in a rite at the abyss. Arthur went after her, and his father, Duke Richard, was killed protecting her. Before that, Arthur had been raised in the Mist Forest and trained by Uther, and he worked as a butcher. He was looking for the family he had never known. He saved a woman called Vivian, and in the course of it learned that he was the son Duke Richard had abandoned. He kept quiet about it until a knight of high rank knelt in front of him in public and everyone understood who he was. After his father's death Arthur took up the God-Slayer Arts, which are forbidden, and set about the Lionheart name and the people who had taken his mother.
