Five-Year Itch

Leo believes his marriage is a happy one. He and Wendy have been married for five years. At her request he gave up his job to be her driver and to run her household, and he has done nothing else since. Her father makes no secret of thinking little of him. People who know the couple say he lives off his wife. Leo lets all of it go by. On their fifth anniversary, with family and friends gathered for the occasion, Wendy walks out to go and look after a man she calls a close friend. Leo is left with the guests. Afterwards he telephones his mother, whom he had fallen out with over Wendy, and tells her he intends to leave.
