Synopsis

The novel is a cheap romance about two women fighting over the same man, and the two women who wrote it fall into it. Broke, they land as rivals, one married to the second son who uses a wheelchair, the other married off to the elder brother. The script has them tear each other apart over the men and then lose to the real heroine. Neither of them wants to play it. They would rather make money, chase good-looking men and get out. Then the real heroine shows up, and she is the daughter of the landlady they could not stand back in their own lives.
