Kiss or Kill: The Consort's Return

A prince and a woman close to him frame the prince's consort on a false charge, and it costs her her life. The consort is the one it lands on, and she is the one who comes back from it. She returns with everything she knows and sets out to ruin them both. She takes on the master of a house called Lingxi Pavilion as an ally. At a wedding banquet she lays out what the woman has done in front of the guests, and the woman loses her standing. An incident with envoys from Persia gives her a way to have the prince's authority cut back, step by step, and she deals with the schemes inside the prince's household as they come up. The man from the pavilion has been helping her the whole time without saying who he is. He is the emperor, and the same man who saved her life when she was a child.
