Treasury Queen Returns

Eleanor was a prodigy. After the disaster that destroyed her family she was taken in by the Empress, and she rose to run the merchant guild of the whole country, with authority over which houses prospered and which were ruined. Years later she travelled back to her home town in disguise to see her grandfather. She was mistaken for someone else and brought to the Prosperus Emporium, where her grandfather was under pressure from nobles and merchants who wanted his position and his account books. Eleanor stepped in on his side. The room treated her as a useless girl and said so. She let them keep saying it, then tore a page from the ledgers and lit it with a gold coin. The flames brought up the royal seal. After the shop was secured she began working to recover the shops that had belonged to her father, with Samer's help, still travelling under another name.
