The Devil's Bride

Julia's relatives want the property her parents left her. The tribe already treats Julia as bad luck, and there is an old story about the lake and the demon in it who is owed a bride, so the relatives use the story and Julia is put into the water. She prays down there, and the praying wakes Isaac. He looks after her and she falls in love with him. What Isaac needs is a human woman's love and her heart, because that is how his power comes back, and the looking after was for that. He ends up in love with her as well. His power is going now, and he can take her heart to get it back or he can disappear and leave her where she is.
