I Carried My Sister's Whole Life

One operation would put Chloe back on her feet. The doctors are clear about that, and her brother Ethan swears he will sell everything they own to pay for it. The injury came from a car crash. Ethan had been held at the police station after a brawl, and his parents drove out with Chloe to collect him. The crash happened on that trip. Both parents died, and Chloe was left unable to walk. She holds Ethan responsible for all of it and tells him so every day. While he is trying to raise the surgery money, their uncle and aunt begin circling the estate the parents left behind. They come to the house and take the bankbook by force, and when that is not enough they set fire to the place. Ethan has never been one to push back, and now he stops giving ground, set on keeping his sister safe and getting the family's property back.
