Synopsis

Famous director Xu Huan returned to her hometown to film a documentary and reunited with ex-boyfriend Dong Wanlin. Though their passionate romance ended painfully seven years ago, lingering feelings remained between them. Their love rekindled. Dong spent 2,555 days building a city just for her. As Xu filmed the town, she realized every frame held his presence. Finding her true home here, she finally felt a sense of belonging. Side by side, they blended into the vibrant city, bound together by time and love.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
